Palatine 150th Celebration

The 150th Celebration marked the 150th anniversary of Palatine’s incorporation as a village in 1866.  Settlers and a town were already here beginning in 1836.  Many events marked this special year.  Here are a few photos.

The Good Old Summertime was the Historical Society’s event in Palatine 150.  There were people reenacting/ crafting things from the town’s early years.  There was music, ice cream, lemonade; Civil War cannons shot off, and a display of wedding dresses from different times in the house.
